Hey, what can I tell you..."In the Act" has benefited me tremendously. Having sat in on workshops since I was five, I began my learning process by observing what worked best and who stood out.

In The Act was the #1 training ground for me to develop cold reading skills as well as a level of confidence when dealing with the industry. All of this gave me an advantage when auditioning.

When I went to the Audition for Freaks and Geeks and they handed me sides for a totally different character than the one I had prepared to audition for, I was able to read and analyze it without hesitation and produce a comfortable read that apparently let them know I could do what they wanted.

I feel extremely fortunate to have grown up at In the Act and know that, besides the networking opportunities it offers, there is a much greater benefit of developing skills and comfortability with auditioning.
