Who Are We? ITA has become a "key to success" for actors pursuing a professional career in Los Angeles. Accredited as a Post secondary school, and approved by the labor board of California, ITA offers the most diverse curriculum in the business today. We offer cold reading casting workshops, Industry showcases, Agent Events, TV Sitcom technique, FILM audition technique, as well as ongoing acting and scene study classes - just to name a few. Our mission is to offer classes that will enrich the actors' sensibility while remembering the "business of the business". Our guests include Casting Directors, TV Directors, Film Directors, Producers, Agents and writers; and the list of names is a virtual "who's who" of show business. Our goal is to help enrich your knowledge with "how to's" and offer an environment that is professional, safe and makes you feel like you "belong". Pricing and scheduling varies from single night classes to ongoing weekly classes. Your level of participation is your choice, and should meet the needs of your lifestyle and work schedule. ITA Productions has been serving the industry since 1983 and has a broad member ship of professional working actors from Emmy Award nominees to the occasional day player ranging in age from 16 - 90! In addition to our classes, we have an online actor directory, Casting911, open to the casting community as well as Culver City Playhouse. Join ITA [ See the Testimonials ] Why do so many ITA actors often acquire work? ITA is one of the most successful Cold Reading Workshops in Los Angeles. We have a very select screening process which has given us an "Industry Respected" core of talented professional actors. Because of their activity at ITA, acting classes, On camera Film & TV courses, performance in area theater, representation, and overall experience - many of our members work constantly. It is not our intention to take credit for any of our actors career success stories. Our members work very hard to keep their acting muscle in good shape and conduct their career like the business it is. Auditions are required of all prospective new ITA members. Pre-registered actors have seating priority at all auditions. Please pre-register using our online calendar and BRING YOUR PRINTED REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION SHEET TO THE AUDITION. Seating is limited. You are NOT guaranteed admission if you are not pre-registered. Auditions begin promptly at the scheduled start time and late comers are NOT admitted, so make sure you sign in on time. Regular ITA workshop rules also apply to our auditions (see below). That includes our reservation and cancellation policies. If you cancel after the cancellation period has expired, you may have to wait up to three months to reschedule. Auditions consist of two cold readings: a comedy and a drama. If you are interested in becoming a member of ITA it is mandatory that you follow our guidelines. Culver City Playhouse ITA has newly formed the Culver City Playhouse, a non-profit that will be doing productions and various programs for kids and teens. We are pleased to announce our new Creative Director of the Culver City Playhouse: Michael Donovan We will be doing play reading to determine upcoming productions and are open to suggestions from ITA members.
